Below are recommendations and tips for submitting files for printing that will yield high quality prints. The most important thing to consider is the size at which you print will be produced. For example, if you are doing graphics to cover a 6 foot board then you need to make sure that your design has enough resolution when sized for the 6 foot print. The best way to do this is to create / view your design at true size (in this example 6 foot) using a graphics program like Illustrator or Photoshop. If it looks good at true size then it will look good on your print. If it looks pixelated or fuzzy at full scale then it will look that way in the print.

When creating your "Print Ready" file layout for BoardLams printing, you have a few options:

Option 1 - Do it yourself with your own graphics program / tools

On your computer using a graphics program like Illustrator or Photoshop, use the following as a guide:

1) Create an artboard or canvas that matches the size of the BoardLams print product that you are ordering. For example, if you are ordering a Size 2 - 40" x 24" Premium Ricepaper Sheet then setup your artboard (Illustrator) or canvas (Photoshop) to match the size of the product that you are ordering.

2) Within your graphics file, layout all of the variations (size & color) of the logos / designs / photos that you would like printed. Be sure that the color white is visible where you would like it printed.  It helps us to see the white areas if design area is transparent.

3) Save your graphics file, you will later upload it during the BoardLams ordering process.

In summary, end goal is to have a single file, with everything that you need printed, that you can submit with your order

Option 2 - Use our BoardLams Customizer

If you don't have a graphics program on your computer / mobile device then you can create your print layout with our online design tool, the "BoardLams Customizer".

1) You will find links for the Customizer each product product page (ricepaper prints, fiberlams, stickers etc.)

2) You can access the Customizer from our main menu bar.  Simply hover over "CUSTOMIZER" for all of your different product customization options

3) The Customizer will allow you to upload your various designs or create something from scratch

4) Position your design variations within the design window, this represents a scaled version of what will be printed with your order

5) Once you have completed your print layout simply add to the cart to submit your design with your order

Option 3 - Get help from the BoardLams team

If all of this is leaving you feeling a bit overwhelmed, we can help. Our staff can create custom logos and print layouts for your orders for a fairly priced design fee. We are glad to help. Feel free to contact us to get the process started
